With the escalation of the world-wide debate concerning transportation logistics in Europe, 9 international forwarders and logistics services providers joined together to form the FreightForward Europe - FFE. ABX Logistics, Dachser, Danzas, Exel, Geodis, Geologistics, Kühne & Nagel, Panalpina and Schenker comprise this association and work as a whole to coordinate efficient transportation arrangements throughout Europe by linking manufacturers with appropriate transport organizations.

With a clearly delineated goal, and specific conditions for participation, the association is currently accepting new members. Conditions regulate the size, service, and international scope of potential members.

The nine participating companies are responsible for 150,000 employees, turnover of 30 billion Euro, and transport of 200 million tons of products.

FFE is not in competition or opposition to other associations of freight forwarders. Rather, it endeavors to advance the common interests of the collective forwarding and logistics community. By doing this, the FFE hopes to buttress the cost-quality and produce-transport relationships present in the European forwarding and logistics industry.
